Emilie Chen

Emilie Chen is an independent French designer and art director based in London, who works primarily for cultural organisations, publishing houses and entertainment brands. She has a knack for coming up with clever concepts, distilling stories into compelling imagery, and collaborating with other creatives to produce work that captures the imagination.

In addition, Emilie co-founded and ran for 7 years the Ladies Wine & Design London chapter, a popular community group for women and non-binary creatives. She also organised portfolio review events for D&Ad New Blood, and talks about Women of Colour working in the Creative Industry, Working In-House and Changing Careers.

In addition to lecturing at universities, Emilie teaches art direction for Domestika : Generating Memorable Ideas.
