Elisa Sunga – AKA Salted Rye – is the founder of the Cake Picnic Tour and author of the Cake Picnic cookbook (published by Chronicle Books). Years ago, when Elisa posted an open invitation online for a gathering to share cakes in Northern California, she had no idea that it would one day grow into a sensation. The tour, which was most recently in Melbourne, Australia, is now a world-wide event that sells out within minutes. This year, upcoming locations include New York, Los Angeles, and London.
